The Princess Cut diamond, first introduced in the early 1960s, is celebrated for its unique combination of brilliant sparkle and clean, square lines. This innovative cut quickly gained popularity for its ability to capture and reflect light, creating a scintillating display of fire and brilliance.

The other reason Princess cuts became so popular is that they were considerably cheaper per carat because there was so much less wastage during the cutting process. Diamond crystals naturally form in a shape that resembles an octahedron (a double pyramid with a square base), and the Princess Cut looks a bit like a rough diamond that’s been cleaved in half, and opened up to reveal a completely dazzling inside. 

Princess Cuts are of course meticulously cut to maximize their sparkle, but they do stay very close to Diamonds natural crystal shape, which gives them a special unadulterated diamond magic.

And this gorgeous ring is set with five beautiful Princess Cuts! The central Princess Cut Diamond weighs at least 1.00ct, and measures 5.00mm, and the side Diamonds weigh at 0.50ct x 2, and 0.25ct x 2 giving a total carat weight of at least 2.50ctw.

SIZING

Any ring from KJJ can be sized to fit, so don’t worry if you don’t know your size, or you’re buying for someone else. To help get it right first time of asking on size though, we have a couple of tried and tested options that won’t delay your order. 

When to order Not Sure and Custom Size options -

NOT SURE - If you’re ordering for yourself and you’re not sure on your ring size - order the Not Sure option from the size menu. Let us know in the notes at checkout that you’re not sure on your size, and we’ll send a ring sizer out to you ASAP. Email us with your size once your sizer is delivered and we will let the workshop know to start making your mount ready to be set as soon as your already ordered Diamonds arrive.

NOT SURE - If you’re ordering for someone else and you’re not sure what their size is - order the Not Sure option from the size menu, let us know it’s a gift / engagement ring, and we will send you a ring gauge that you can use to measure a ring that should either give us either an exact measurement, or a very good idea of size. Out of interest, the right hand ring finger tends to be a size bigger than the left hand wedding ring finger, so if you can measure any ring at all, we can usually be pretty accurate with a surreptitiously borrowed ring and a ring gauge.

Once you've measured your finger, or a ring that fits the finger that you’re buying for, let us know the size required by email or PM/DM, and we’ll have your ring made to size, set and on its way as soon as it’s ready.

CUSTOM SIZE - If you know your on another size scale, eg US / Euro size, but you're not sure on your UK ring size - Choose Custom size, put your international size in the Notes at checkout box, and we will make to your exact size. 

CUSTOM SIZE - If you want a half size - We can make one to fit you! Order in Custom size, let us know your size in the Notes at checkout, and we’ll make to measure.

If your ring arrives and it needs a tweak size wise, don’t worry, get in touch and we are happy to adjust the size free of charge. Please note, re-sizing can take up to two weeks.
